Bonar Bridge, Sutherland, Scottish Highlands
Bonar Bridge is a village on the north bank of the Kyle of Sutherland. This elegant bridge was opened on the 14th December 1973 and is the third bridge to stand on the same site. The first bridge built in 1812 by Thomas Telford was destroyed in a flood in 1892 and rebuilt in 1893.
